Grace Wong is a registered patent attorney in Singapore, Australia and New Zealand with more than 16 years of experience in intellectual property. She advises clients on all aspects of patent protection, with particular expertise in the chemical and life sciences sectors. Her practice covers patent drafting and prosecution, portfolio management, freedom-to-operate and validity assessments, and strategic IP advice for clients ranging from startups to multinational companies.
Before co-founding Voyage IP, Grace was a Principal at one of Asia’s largest IP firms and earlier served as a Patent Examiner in the chemical division of the Australian Patent Office. This dual perspective as attorney and examiner enables her to deliver practical, commercially focused advice grounded in a deep understanding of patent law and procedure.

She is an Associate Lecturer at the Singapore University of Social Sciences, where she teaches patent drafting in the Master of Intellectual Property and Innovation Management programme, and has also lectured for the IP Academy of the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore and at Nanyang Technological University.
At Voyage IP, Grace brings not only her technical expertise but also her talent for building teams and fostering strong client relationships. She is known for her approachable and collaborative style, which creates a positive and productive environment for both clients and colleagues. Her experience as an educator and mentor ensures that the firm’s younger practitioners are trained to the highest standards, while her commitment to client service anchors Voyage IP’s culture of quality, responsiveness and fairness.
Her expertise has been recognised by Managing IP’s IP Stars, where she was named a Rising Star in 2018 and 2019 and a Notable Practitioner from 2021 to 2025.
